Ofcourse I want more, but for $20, you seem to expect way too much. Im not sure how much content you were expecting. Orrrrrrrrrrrrrr update the game and just let it pick the item we want in some specific mode based gameplay. why the heck do we need 4 altars? we can start a round, and immediately kill ourselves and have the 4 altars recycle to different items until we get an item we want to try that we just unlocked. *basic* ♥♥♥♥ like eventually letting us choose our own runs, items, etc. The game feels like a premature release, that they gave up on, getting dumpstered by better games during covid. its like they admitted defeat in getting aboslutely destroyed by far superior games like dead cells and hades, and prematurely released the game a year after covid because they gave up. Originally posted by ChonkyRat:right? not only that, its exceptionally barebones. We appreciate you guys' enthusiasm for Curse of the Dead Gods, and we're hoping to bring more things to the game, even if it is not our priority at the moment!Ĭheers, its a well made game! Thanks for all you guys have done over the years of development and i hope to see success in your new game! But at the moment, we're taking a break from Curse of the Dead Gods to focus on the development of a new game. It doesn't mean that we won't patch a few bugs here and there, or even add more content or features in the future. Moreover, the Motion Twin team created a new studio to focus only on Dead Cells updates, and so far this is not in our plans haha Since you're mentioning Dead Cells, I think it would be fair to remind you that the game is now 3 years old and had plenty of time to create all the updates you're referring to. Basically what Esty and Epica242 said is right, the game is fully released and we even popped an extra post-launch update in June with a surprise Dead Cells crossover.
